Brown discharge with really bad odor associated with it. This discharge has a heavy flow and appears when wearing a tampon or during and after intercourse.

	For the past month I have had a brown discharge. I am forced to wear a tampon to eliminate the smell and mess. When I change out my tampon half way through the day it is half full. When I wear a panti-liner I dont see any leakage but when i wear a tampon or after intercourse i see this discharge.

There are a number of infectious agents that can cause a foul odor and discharge.Even a lost tampon or trauma can cause such symptoms.A pelvic examination and maybe an ultrasound uterus is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
