Concerned about an early pregnancy that has experienced bleeding with no blood clots

	I recently found out i was pregnant. I went to see my ob yesterday about some bleeding that I had recently. He did an ultrasound and did not comment on the bleeding. Today I began to bleed again, it was enough to saturate a reqular tampon. There were no clots just blood. What could be wrong? Should I be worried.

Some of the causes of vaginal bleeding during the first trimester are bleeding due to implantation of the embryo, cervical bleeding due to increased vascularity of cervix, cervical infections, miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy. Since you have undergone an ultrasound and everything seems fine, this bleeding quite possibly is cervical bleeding. To be on the safe side however please inform your OBGYN as soon as possible and get yourself evaluated. Take care!
