Do I qualify for stem cell donation if I am a match

	my brother, 57, has non-hodgkins and needs a stem cell donor. I am a female, age 64, had cancer as an infant and breast cancer at age 40, I also have a heart condition, diet controlled diabetic, just diagnosed with AK of the lower lip with biopsy and will have surgery in two weeks on the lower lip. I also have high BP controlled with meds and extremely low heart rate. Am I at risk to be a donor if I am a match ? Thanks for your help.

Since you have quite a few health issues of your own, I am not sure if you can qualify as a donor. Please consult your brother’s oncologist incase you are a match. Overall a brother or a sister has one in four chances of being a match.
