Getting pregnant right away after D&C

	Asked by priesh (Female; 25; Had miscarraige in 6weeks and got D&C done the very same day (July 6th 2010) ) on Thu 19, Aug 2010 05:37am :
	Had D&C done on July 6th due to incomplete abortion and till now i did not get my periods, instead i get slight brownish discharge. Usually my periods are regular once in 25 days. Started taking Caberlin 0.5 mg Tab 5 days after D&C due to high prolactin level.

	Answer by Dr.Kokil Mathur (doctor) on Sat 21, Aug 2010 08:00pm: Hi! Incomplete D and C could be the cause of persisting brownish discharge. Other causes of brownish discharge are hypothyroidism, cervical dysplasia, cervical polyps, cervicitis, vaginitis, cervical and uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, hormonal imbalance (you have high prolactin levels and this would need to be re-assed), genital ulcers, STDs and stress. You can discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist as on net and without examining it is difficult to give a confirmed opinion. Hope this helps. Take care!
