Is wearing a solar belt made of neoprene safe to wear being that it makes me sweat and my pores are open.

	i have a waist trimming belt made of neoprene and it has a very strong odor. I read about neoprene and about it's precautions of skin problems and possible kidney problems.My question is, is it medically safe to wear this solar belt made of neoprene? It scares me because of the mention of lead and the fact that it makes me sweat and my pores are open and so it is on my body .

Many people have used this belt with varying degrees of success. There is no documented evidence of lead absorption and consequent side effects till now. Although some people find it uncomfortable due to the velcro and excessive sweating which causes itching.
