The symptoms you have described all point out to some hormonal imbalance in your body, especially of that of
the female hormones (estrogen, progesterone, FSH, etc.). Imbalances can be caused by a lot of factors
including stress (most common), diet modifications, and primary ovarian problems.
The assessment of this problem would first start from the assessment if you are ovulating or not, and your
gynecologist would have special tests for this. Some gynecologists would first give a trial of hormonal
therapy in order to re-align the hormones, and see if the cycle will normalize.
It is best that you have yourself checked by your gynecologist to rule out other problems, but I believe that
this is nothing serious.
