Hi,
The rules and laws governing abortion vary based on the country you are located in.
If you are in the US, there is no current law that restricts your right to an abortion at any time during your
pregnancy. However, certain states have placed restrictions on abortions, such as parental consent for
abortions in minors. And though there is usually no restraint in right to abortion until 24 weeks (6 months),
after this period justifiable cause may need to be provided as the fetus would be viable (can live independent
of the mother) and abortion would conflict with the right to life of the fetus.
The risk associated with abortions increases with the duration of pregnancy. It is relatively safe to have an
abortion until 8 weeks of pregnancy, but complications that could be fatal are higher by about 16-20 weeks.
The facility of non-hospital abortion also disappears once the pregnancy progresses beyond 8-10 weeks, as does
the number of service providers.

It may be better just to speak with your GP for further guidance on this matter.
