Womens Health- spotting while on birthcontrol (blood on condom)

	ive been on birth control 7 mo, the same amt of time ive been sexually active. my period ended last weekend (not this past one- the july 4th weekend). on saturday night there was a spot of blood on the condom after my boyfriend and I had sex, im in a monog. relationship, only had one partner. The past couple days ive had a single spot of that brownish discharge that comes before your period. should I be worried about anything? Did he cut me? is it leftover from my period? the sex wasnt particularly rough or anything.

It is usually advised to take the birth control pills at the same time every day. Estrogen in the body starts wearing off if you take your pill 4 hrs late and this low estrogen can cause spotting or mild bleeding. http://www.noperiod.com/handout.html If the spotting continues nevertheless please consult your obgyn.
