bleeding after intercourse and loss of appetite 6 months after c-section

	i have frequent vaginal bleeding, constant abdominal pain, loss of appetite, lack of energy and i had a c-section 6 months ago. i had contracted hpv 4 yrs ago could these be related or could this be somehig more serious lik pelvic inflamatory disease or ovarian cancer? i dont have medical insurance right now and would love your advice!

	Answer by Dr. Malathesh K (doctor) on Thu 12, Feb 2009 10:50am: The symptoms you have mentioned are suggestive of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, injury to the cervix, cancer of cervix or uterus. You may need to undergo USG abdomen, cervical smear test (pap smear test), and routine hematological and urine tests .I would advice you to consult your gynecologist for proper evaluation and treatment. Meanwhile you can take combination of anti spasmodic and haemostatic drugs like mephenamic acid with tranexamic acid for bleeding and pain.
