The vagina and vulva are delicate, yet resilient structure made of skin, mucous membranes, muscle and so
forth. The lining of the vagina is very similar to the tissue that lines the inside of your mouth. It's
soft, squooshy, and it bleeds when it's cut or roughly rubbed. Doing masturbation with a hairbrush and
that too in a rough manner can lead to tears or injuries to vagina or cervix(if there was deep penetration).
If you were doing it for the first time then bleeding may be due to tearing of the hymen.Otherwise it can be
due to tears/abrasions.
Just take some rest and use sanitary napkins to absorb bleeding.Pls do not use aspirin as it will aggravate
bleeding.You can use some mild analgesics and antiinflammatories.Till there is complete healing,pls abstain
from masturbating.
In future,do masturbation gently and at a comfortable pace. If anything hurts, stop and readjust till
it's comfortable.You can hurt yourself if you masturbate in a face-down position. Masturbation should be
performed on your back, although you can try it sitting or standing once you've learned it on your back.
If the bleeding increases or you have fever or soreness of the vagina,pls consult an
obstetrician/gynaecologist.
