	can a living human be infected by maggots? AND I DONT MEAN TREATED BY MAGGOTS to help wounds. Can a human be infected by a fly maggot? you know the one that flys lay eggs and they are maggots yeah those i think im infected i went to go pee and im on my period and a maggot was floating in my toilet before i flushed could i be infected or is it probabbly where a fly laid an egg

What happened is most likely coincidental, with the maggots already present in the toilet that you may not have noticed before you pee. However, there are indeed documented reports of parasitic infestations of the vagina, urethra, and perineal areas that can present with passage of organisms similar to these maggots. This is most commonly seen in very depressed areas who have inadequate access to proper sanitation. If this happens again, then a quick gynecologist consult and evaluation maybe all that is needed.
