light period brown blood w other problems

	Hi, In febuary this year I had the paragard iud put in. First few months, I had very very heavy periods but no trouble. Two months ago, I had my annual and it came up abmormal. My obgyn, did a second one and that one came up abnormal. My obgyn performed a colospy because the paps showed possible precancer cells. The biopsy from the colospy came up unconclusive and she wants to perform another pap in three months. Also, around two months ago, my period got really light and I bleed brown blood, I've had a lot of abdominal and back pain w heavy orange/brown discharge. Could this all be because of the iud? Should I get it out? Could I possibly have cancer or something else? I'm not pregnant btw. Been tested, came up negitive. Help!

However, if your pap smear showed possible precancerous cells, it may also be difficult to conclude that the bleeding is from other conditions. You may need to discuss this with your gynecologist for proper management. Your medical history, age and presence of risk factors including family history of malignancy are considered.
