	i am going away tommorow and have started my period, if i take utovlan today will it stop my period? it is more of a light brown discharge at the moment than blood.

Taking synthetic hormone medicine like utovlan( norethistrone) may be used to postpone the onset of menstruation for special circumstances, such as if traveling or taking part in sporting event. However, if you have been having light discharge already, it may not be as effective. It is best that you check with your doctor for proper management.Take care and regards.
