Pregnancy would halt further ovulations in a woman and therefore makes another pregnancy very unlikely (near
impossible).
Urinary tract and bladder infection are very common after sexual intercourse, whether pregnant or not, since a
lot of bacteria is introduced in the female urinary tract during sex. This can be avoided or prevented by
having the girl urinate or void after intercourse. This would eliminate most of the bacteria.
I think what happened is just a plain urinary tract infection. There is a simple way to find out if she were
pregnant in the first place, and that's to have a pregnancy test.
