Hi tetanus toxoid vaccine is effective in preventing life threatening condition which leads to tetanic muscle contraction. It is routinely recommended for susceptible pregnant woman. While no evidence exists to prove that tetanus is teratogenic waiting until second trimester of pregnancy to administer Td is reasonable precaution. However please consult your doctor for further informationand dosage.Take care.
