I recently got diagnosed and treated for Chlamydia. My boyfriend of 5 years got tested when I told him, but he tested negative. We do not use condoms when we have sex, and I have not had sex with anyone esle is the past 5 years. How is this possible?

Chlamydia is an infection caused by the Chlamydia trachomatis bacterium and is spread from person-to-person through direct sexual contact. Chlamydia can be passed during vaginal, anal, or oral sex if you do not use a condom every time you have sex.Because there are often no symptoms, people who are infected may unknowingly pass Chlamydia to their sex partners. There is no other means of transmission because Chlamydia bacteria don’t survive outside the human body.Best..
