i am a 24 years old woman who has recently about 5 months ago relocated and
started a new job. I must say that my new environment is stressful and the new
boss is something to get used to .I have now skipped my period for the first
time this month and I am worried, last month it was very little “spotting”
compared to my normal flow. I have taken two pregnancy tests but both came back
negative. I have been on the pill for more that 5 years. Please advise.

Hi, , there can be many causes for delayed periods other than pregnancy like stress which you have mentioned you have been under lately. Other causes may be like change of environment, hormonal imbalance (may be due to birth control pills), intensive exercise, excessive alcohol, smoking and caffeine products intake. I suggest you to do your ultrasound and consult with your gynecologist for these possibilities. Thanks.
