menstrual cycle

i havent had a period in over a year and i have had 3 in the past 6 months but they are brown clots and discharge what is wrong

    Usually during monthly periods the endometrial layer sheds off, but if you have irregular periods then the endometrial layer thickens abnormally and when period happens it sheds off like clots, heavy and prolonged periods.
    But you need to consult your OB/GYN to rule out other conditions which could cause this situation like fibroids, benign and malignant growths.
